DNA Cascais and Junior Achievement seeking volunteers to create connection between education and the business field

Do you have a nonconformist way of looking at the world and would like to boost entrepreneurship in Cascais’ schools? Register here.

The Agency DNA Cascais  has in Youth and School Entrepreneurship one of its main lines of action, working with students and county schools in entrepreneurial projects aimed at the development of new attitudes among young citizens, from the 1st cycle of Basic Education , to High School. Within the DNA Cascais Enterprising Schools program, we join forces with Junior Achievement Portugal to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy.

The project DNA Cascais / Junior Achievement, seeks to promote the creation of “bridges” between education and the world of work. In this sense, teachers and volunteers have a key role in educational programs developed. Volunteers are asked to provide their time and expertise to foster entrepreneurship among young people of the Municipality of Cascais. This work is developed in partnership with teachers and school classes involved, in order to implement educational programs according to the grade level of the students:

The Family (1st cycle – 1st year)

The Community (1st cycle – 2nd year)

Europe and I (2nd cycle – 5th / 6th year)

Its My Business (3rd cycle – 7th / 8th grade)

Economics for Success (3rd cycle – 9th grade)

Join the network of volunteers and help us bring entrepreneurship to more County Schools, helping to bring “education” and the “world of work” together , inspiring and preparing young people to be agents of change in the community.
