DNA Cascais has signed a collaboration agreement with Turismo de Portugal, during the Fostering Innovation in Tourism event, held at the Serralves Foundation in Porto, which brought together several incubators in the country.
This partnership agreement aims to create the conditions for the incubation of start-ups and the development of new business ideas related to the tourism industry.
Turismo de Portugal will support the development of acceleration programs associated with the sector, ensuring the participation of startups and new member companies in overseas tourism fairs and promoting international contacts in this context.
The areas of cooperation provided for in these protocols are as follows:
- Promoting a culture of entrepreneurship in the tourism sector, including participation in the tourism initiatives of Portugal;
- Ensure integration in startups incubation programs and new companies designed to develop business ideas in Tourism;
- To ensure conditions of space, support services, consulting, mentoring and sharing of knowledge, necessary and appropriate to develop the respective ideas and business models;
- Promote the development of a specifically targeted incubation model for ideas and business models related to the sector.
