DNA Cascais has been credited to house the startups that will benefit from incubation vouchers recently created by the government, part of the national strategy for entrepreneurship, Portugal 2020.
What are the steps that entrepreneurs should take into account to apply the incubation vouchers in Portugal 2020:
The entrepreneur submits an application to the Portugal 2020 platform;
In the application process, the entrepreneur will have to identify two incubators where he wants to incubate their project;
Analysis and candidate filtering will be made by the Portugal 2020 services;
If the project is eligible, the developer will be informed by the services that his application has been accepted;
He will be given the incentives, that he will have to “spend” on hiring incubator services where the project will be incubated;
The supported is targeted at the acquisition of incubation service projects in the area of entrepreneurship, vital to business start-ups, including:
Management Services (Support the definition of the business model, support of the business operational management (including sales management, financial planning and management control) as well as mentoring and training in management);
Marketing services (support in structuring the communication strategy / marketing; support the dissemination of the activity, products and services; support in structuring / consolidation of the internationalization process);
Legal Advisory Services (consulting and legal support);
Development of products and services (Support the digitization of business processes, support the protection / recovery of intellectual property rights);
Financing Services (Support for applications for competitions of entrepreneurship and innovation; support in contact with investors and financial institutions).

The beneficiaries of this measure will be micro and small enterprises of any kind and in any legal form.
Incentive Form:
Non Refundable Incentives (INR) 75% with a limit of € 5,000 (except for the incentives to be granted by the Regional OP Lisbon, which are calculated by applying, to eligible costs, for a maximum of 40% with a limit € 5,000, the entrepreneur will have to take the remaining € 3,000.00).
